Kayaking • Exploration • Viewpoint • Cave • Waterfall • Organic Farm Duration: 08:30 AM – 05:00 PM Group Options: Join-in Group (3–10 people): $40–80 per person Private Group (2–4 people): $80–100 per person (Includes all activities, boat rides, guide, and lunch — personal expenses excluded) 08:30 AM – Departure & Scenic Boat Ride Meet your local guide at the Nong Khiaw office. After a short walk to the riverbank, board a traditional Lao boat for a 1.5-hour scenic cruise upstream to Muang Ngoi, a charming riverside village surrounded by limestone mountains. Enjoy the tranquil journey and observe local life along the Nam Ou River. 10:00 AM – Viewpoint & Cave Exploration On arrival, stroll through the village before hiking a short distance to the base of a viewpoint trail. After a 15-minute climb, reach a mysterious cave once used by locals as a wartime shelter. Continue upward to the summit viewpoint, where sweeping views of Muang Ngoi Valley await. Rest, take photos, and descend for a refreshing break. 12:00 PM – Lunch in Sobkong Village & Organic Farm Visit Board the boat again for a 35-minute ride downstream to Sobkong Village. Enjoy a homemade Lao lunch prepared by villagers at a local homestay. After lunch, visit Yen Sa Bai Sao Na, a local organic farm, where you’ll learn about traditional Lao agriculture and organic farming methods. 02:00 PM – Tad Mok Waterfall Continue by boat for about 45 minutes to the Tad Mok Waterfall. Relax and swim in the cool, natural pool beneath the falls — a peaceful moment surrounded by jungle greenery. 03:30 PM – Kayaking Adventure Back to Nong Khiaw After a short rest back in Sobkong Village, hop back on the boat and travel 40 minutes downstream to the kayaking start point. Paddle your kayak back to Nong Khiaw, enjoying the golden afternoon light and stunning river scenery. 04:30–05:00 PM – Return to Nong Khiaw Arrive back at the Nong Khiaw pier. End of the tour.
